Inspector reviewing a drone aerial view of a residential roof

Three reasons people book a standalone inspection

  • Pre-purchase. You're buying a sub-sale home and the agent has been vague about the roof. We climb it and tell you what you're really inheriting.
  • Insurance documentation. After a storm, your insurer wants photo evidence and an independent condition report. We produce both in a format that satisfies most local underwriters.
  • Routine peace of mind. The roof is the most expensive part of the building you never look at. A scheduled inspection every 2–3 years catches small problems early.

What the inspection actually covers

  1. Drone aerial survey of the whole roof and gutter system, recorded to 4K video.
  2. Physical roof walk where access allows, photographing every concern.
  3. Attic / ceiling-cavity inspection from inside the home, with thermal camera for moisture.
  4. Gutter, downpipe and ground-drain check at the outlets.
  5. Structural sample of the timber trusses or steel purlins, where accessible.

The report you get

Within 3 working days you receive a PDF report containing the drone video link, all photos, a written condition summary, a priority-ranked list of issues, and indicative cost ranges for any recommended works. The report is yours — share it with insurers, lawyers or competing contractors.

"Will the report be biased towards using you?"

It's the fair question. Our answer: roughly 35% of inspection clients never hire us for the works. Some shop around, some find we recommended no works at all. We keep the inspection commercially separate so it's actually trustworthy.
