1. About these terms

The website at https://criptora.pro and the services described on it are operated by Criptora Roofworks Sdn. Bhd. (Co. Reg. 202401045678 (1565432-A)), a company incorporated in Malaysia. These terms govern your relationship with us as a website visitor and as a client.

2. Use of the website

You're welcome to read and share content from this site, screenshot it for your own records, and link to any page. You may not copy substantial portions of the text or images for republication on other commercial sites without our written permission. All trade marks, logos and original photography remain our property.

3. Quotations and the contract

A written quotation from Criptora is valid for 30 days from the date stated on the quote, unless otherwise noted. A binding contract is formed when you accept the quote in writing (email is fine) and pay any deposit specified. Until that point, either party may walk away with no liability.

4. Site access and conditions

By engaging us you confirm that you are the owner of the property, or the authorised agent of the owner, and that you have the legal right to commission the works. You agree to provide reasonable access on the agreed working days, including access to power and water where the works require them.

5. Variations

Once works begin, any change to the agreed scope will be confirmed in writing as a variation, with the price impact stated up front. We will not carry out additional works without your written approval, except for emergency safety actions (for example, weather-proofing a roof we have opened up if rain is imminent).

6. Payment

Standard payment terms are: a deposit of 30% on contract, an interim payment of 40% at midpoint for projects over five working days, and the balance of 30% on completion. Payment is by bank transfer to our Sdn. Bhd. account. We do not accept cash for amounts over RM 5,000.

7. Workmanship warranty

We warrant our workmanship for the period stated on your quote — typically 5 years for repairs, 10 years for restoration coatings, and 12 years for full replacements. The warranty covers defects in our workmanship only. It does not cover storm damage, neglect, third-party alterations, or wear and tear. Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through in their original form.

8. Material warranties

Tiles, sheeting and coatings are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty. We will register your installation with the manufacturer where eligible, and we'll hand you the warranty paperwork on completion.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability for any single contract is limited to the amount you paid us under that contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of rental income, business interruption, or damage to items that were already failing before we arrived. We carry public liability insurance of RM 2,000,000 and our certificate is available on request.

10. Force majeure

We're not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control — including monsoon weather, government-imposed restrictions, material shortages from our suppliers, or industrial action. Where such delays occur, we'll keep you informed and agree a revised schedule in writing.

11. Cancellation

You may cancel a confirmed booking up to seven days before the agreed start date for a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations inside seven days incur a charge of 50% of the deposit, to cover materials we will have already ordered. Refund handling is described separately on our refund policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version applicable to your contract is the one in force on the date you accept your quotation. The current version is always available at this URL.
